Radiator assembly

through the use of a suspension bracket KORAD

A Korad bracket is the most used type of an assembly console. It is suitable for solid construction materials, but not for walls from perforated bricks and plasterboard systems!

We will exemplify a radiator assembly in the following forms:

1.

Drill holes, with 16 mm diameter, into the wall at the assembly place. A distance between the console axis and the top edge of a radiator is 100mm. Console spacing can be found in a catalogue or directly measured during installation.

Carefully tighten the nuts to fix consoles (with a spanner 16). The console suspension nose (see the figure) must be oriented downwards.

Screw suspension excenters on the protruding part of a thread.

The console positions required can be corrected by slight turning of exceters.

Cut the protective foil and remove plastic protections at suspension brackets.

Put braces on the bottom radiator braces and hang the radiator.

Check the correct position with a spirit-level and make necessary corrections.

Remove the part covering connection holes from the plastic corners and remove transport plugs.

Install seals, deareation plugs and valves, and connect the radiator to a heating circuit.

Don't remove the protective foil, cardboards and plastic corners until you have finished the construction works.

Installed radiator.
